A Nursing Diagnosis is a Specific Conclusion about a Patients Health

The nursing diagnosis is formulated on the basis of data collected from the patient through interview, observation and analysis of documentation. It is evident that both the patient and the nurse are focused on ensuring as much quality of life as possible. The patient’s feeling of security and the feeling of at least partial control over his own life is a prerequisite for the patient’s cooperation with the health care staff and a prerequisite for a good and quick recovery.
